Goodlass Nerolac Paints of the yore, now Kansai Nerolac Paints, is the second largest paint company in India. The Japanese company has been in India for over two decades and is a stiff competitor to the other giants in the industry.
Since there was experience within the agency of having worked with Nerolac earlier, in the good old days of ‘Goody’, the then Nerolac mascot, Collateral felt we could re-establish contact and try to explore opportunities of working together.
A few phone calls and meeting or two and the first brief arrived! Since we had the experience, understanding was never an issue. Soon value additions were appreciated. More briefs followed. Next in line were projects – the showcase project of having the entire range under one roof for a customer to walk in and experience paint as it should be. This was followed by the prestigious Annual Report design for the company. A few iterations later, the final look and layouts were approved. The final product reflected the company in a positive light.
Then came the Corporate Brochure. It was like representing the plethora of services and products offered by Nerolac. This was challenging indeed. Collateral rose up to the challenge and delivered and how. The Corporate Brochure became a huge hit both internally and among external customers.
In line with their popular jingle, ‘Jab ghar ki rounak badhani ho…’ Collateral indeed had added a bit more to the ‘rounak’.
